At Cal Marquès, we like to do things slowly. We believe time should have its own rhythm, where a good meal lingers and the after-dinner conversation has no end.

That’s why, in this new chapter and with our change of location, we have incorporated Hostal La Placeta—a place with over 40 years of history that we now carry forward as a family business. Taking the baton from Teresa and her family, we open the doors of this home to you as well.

La Placeta keeps its timeless essence: simple, cozy, and peaceful. At the same time, we’ve brought our own philosophy to it, ensuring everything is in harmony with what happens in our kitchen.

After enjoying the restaurant, sharing a bottle of wine, or getting lost in conversation, the best part is knowing you don’t have to leave. You can stay, rest, and make the moment last.

In the morning, we prepare breakfast with our signature touch: local products from Ripollès, good taste, and simplicity. Everything is homemade, with patience and love. Unhurried, just as it should be.
